The Holy Family I: General overview

The "Sagrada Família" (also known as the Holy Family) is a basilica in the middle of Barcelona. The construction started in 1882, and it is expected to be completed around 2026.

We must take into account that the building was not considered a basilica initially. It was not until the 2010, when the Pope Benedict XVI consecrated the minor Church by then as a basilica during a mass celebrated during one of its visits in the city.
